About the High School Contest

The perfect introduction to competitive programming for high school students.

The ICPC High School Contest is designed to introduce students to the world of competitive programming in a fun and engaging way. Teams of three students work together to solve problems that test their logical thinking and programming skills.

This contest helps students develop critical problem-solving abilities that will serve them well in college and beyond, regardless of whether they pursue computer science or other fields.

Launch Recap - April 1, 2026

Our inaugural high school contest was a great success.

Thanks to the dedication of the organizing team, coaches, volunteers, and participating schools, the contest ran smoothly and provided an excellent first competitive experience for many students. Our staff handled logistics, problem preparation, and scoring with great care and their collaboration made the launch possible.

We expect a gradual increase in participation as word spreads and more schools register in the coming months. If your school was not represented this year, please consider registering for future events. We welcome new teams and will continue to improve the experience each year.
